Amusan: “Sono accusata di violazione regole antidoping”
L’atleta nigeria Tobi Amusan sul suo profilo Instagram ha condiviso le accuse ricevute secondo cui avrebbe violato le regole antidoping. Riportiamo alcuni passaggi di quanto ha scritto nel post la detentrice del record mondiale dei 100 ostacoli nonchè campionessa del mondo in cui la diretta interessata spiega cosa stà avvenendo:
“L’Athletics Integrity Unit mi ha accusato di una presunta violazione delle regole per aver saltato tre test in 12 mesi”.
“Ho intenzione di combattere contro questa accusa e il mio caso sarà deciso da un tribunale di tre arbitri prima dell’inizio dei Campionati del mondo del mese prossimo”.
Un colpo di scena inaspettato nell’ottica dei Campionati del mondo di atletica leggera 2023 in programma a Budapest dal 19 agosto al 27 2023.

“Today, the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) has charged me with an alleged rule violation for having three (3) missed tests in 12 months. I intend to fight this charge and will have my case decided by a tribunal of 3 arbitrators before the start of next month’s World Championships. I am a CLEAN ATHLETE, and I am regularly; (maybe more than the usual) tested by the AIU – I was tested within days of my ‘missed test.’ I have FAITH that this will be resolved in my favor and that I will be competing at the World Championships in August.In the meantime, I ask that the media respect my privacy, while I address these allegations in my upcoming arbitration”.
