L’attesa per la nuova serie de Il Signore degli Anelli: Gli Anelli del Potere è ormai palpabile con i fan che hanno avuto modo di vedere il nuovo trailer diffuso da Amazon. Il servizio di streaming nelle ultime ore ha diffuso anche la soundtrack ufficiale, una colonna sonora curata dal vincitore del Premio Emmy Bear McCreary. Tra i brani della soundtrack de Il Signore degli Anelli: Gli Anelli del Potere c’è anche il tema principale composto dal premio Oscar Howard Shore, eccezionale musicista già autore delle musiche pluripremiate della trilogia cinematografica diretta da Peter Jackson.

Amazon Music pubblicherà ogni settimana la soundtrack completa di ogni episodio, oltre a dei bonus track esclusivi per gli abbonati e due sono già disponibili: Find the Light e The Promised King. L’album ufficiale rinominato The Season One: Amazon Original Series Soundtrack include anche le performance di due attrici della serie: Sophia Nomvete (Princess Disa) nella traccia A Plea to the Rocks e Megan Richards (Poppy Proudfellow) che canta il brano This Wandering Day.
